Terms

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Some of our Services allow you to submit, send, or receive content. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content. In short, what belongs to you stays yours.

If you have a MACLookup account, we may display your Profile name, Profile photo, and actions you take on MACLookup

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

MACLookup reserves the right to modify, supplement or replace these Terms, effective upon posting the changes on the Site or notifying you otherwise. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes to these Terms or receipt of notice will mean that you accept and agree to such changes. You are responsible for regularly consulting the current version of the Terms before your use of the Services.

Accounts

When you create an account or use another service to log in to the Service, you agree to maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to any data or other information you provide to the Service.

MACLookup reserves the right to delete any Account that has been inactive for a period of one (1) year or more since its last activity, without any prior notice to the relevant User.

MACLookup reserves the right to delete any API Key that has been inactive for a period of six (6) months or more since its last activity, without any prior notice to the relevant User.

Limited Right to use services

MACLookup grants you the right to access, use, and view the standard (free) Services, together with any Premium Services for which you have subscribed.

You may access, view and make copies of the data in the API for your personal or commercial use, including making the data in the API available in online and/or mobile applications/services (a single API key/subscription may be used in respect of one online or mobile application/service only) which are, as applicable, sold or resold by you or your group companies or other third parties authorized by you ('Representatives').
If you are a Free API user then for all uses of the data, you will credit MACLookup by name or brand logo as the source of service. You may not transfer your access privileges or disclose your password to any third party. MACLookup reserves the right to modify or terminate any of the Services at any time. As a condition of your use of the Services, you warrant to MACLookup that you will not use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. If you violate any of these Terms and Conditions, your authorization to use the Services automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed materials.

Acceptable Use Policy

You can query the MACLookup endpoint in according with rate limits:

• Free - 2 requests/seconds ( 10 000 request per day)
• With subscription - 50 requests/seconds ( 1 000 000 request per day)

We reserve the right to block your API keys or disable your subscription if we believe you are querying the API in an intentionally excessive or abusive manner, for example, if you're querying all possible MAC addresses for database mining purposes.

You are responsible for keeping your API keys private. We recommend setting restrictions for your API keys, so eventual key leaks will prevent potential API abuse.

Third-Party Content

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by MACLookup.

MACLookup has no control over and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that MACLookup shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

Disclaimer

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK, AND THAT THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO YOU ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MACLookup EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, MACLookup EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS THAT: (I) THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR SATISFY YOUR REQUIREMENTS; (II) THE SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, ACCESSIBLE, UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR ERROR-FREE; (III) THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, RELIABLE OR USEFUL; AND (IV) THAT ANY ERRORS OR DEFECTS IN THE OPERATION OR FUNCTIONALITY OF THE SERVICES WILL BE CORRECTED. IN ADDITION, MACLookup EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY IN RELATION TO: (I) ANY CONTENT MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY SUBSCRIBER CONTENT; (II) ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES OFFERED OR PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES IN ASSOCIATION OR CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES, INCLUDING ANY THIRD PARTY SERVICES; (III) ANY HACKING OR OTHER UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICES; AND (IV) ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR SOFTWARE, COMPUTER SYSTEM OR OTHER PROPERTY CAUSED BY VIRUSES OR OTHER MALICIOUS CODE AS A RESULT OF YOUR ACCESS OR USE OF THE SERVICES. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH OR HARMED BY THE SERVICES, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY WILL BE TO DISCONTINUE USE OF THE SERVICES AND TERMINATE THIS AGREEMENT
